GenServPro is a fast-growing plumbing and heating service provider committed to delivering exceptional service and solutions to our residential and commercial customers. We are currently seeking experienced, professional, and motivated service technicians to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

The Service Technician will be responsible for providing high-quality plumbing and heating repairs and maintenance to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the plumbing industry, the ability to work independently, and a dedication to providing superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing and heating systems.

• Efficiently manage and complete service calls and projects.

• Ability to quickly learn and proficiently use jobber software for job tracking and management.

• Follow and learn the GSP process under direction.

• Utilize a smartphone for communication and daily operations.

• Maintain a well-stocked company truck/van with current insurance and registration.

• Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Equip and utilize the necessary tools to run service operations efficiently.

• Deliver excellent customer service and understand the importance of customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Price service work on the spot, with the competency to up-sell customers by estimating time and materials.

• Show initiative as a self-starter, motivated to contribute to company growth.

• Availability to be on-call for emergency services and willing to work late to complete jobs.

• Maintain a professional, clean-cut appearance. - Commit to being drug-free and drama-free.

• Manage truck inventory effectively, preparing for future service calls.

• Collaborate successfully with other trades and GSP staff.

• Coordinate service scheduling and build out personal schedules based on priority and location.

• Demonstrate a strong desire to move up within the company and aim for long-term employment with GSP.

• 3-5 years of experience as a service plumber technician.

• Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing and heating systems.

• Proven track record of excellent customer service skills.

• Self-motivated with a drive to excel and advance.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to overtime requirements.
